I have another new Melbourne blogger friend. After starting this blog early this year my first penpals were European and New Yorkers, it’s strange that two weeks ago all of a sudden local kids started reading it. Estelle from One Perfect Morning has started a jewellery range that needs some attention. Her words……The range is called “For J.D, with love and squalor” as an homage to writer J.D Salinger (author of “The catcher in the rye”).

More of her words to describe…..It is inspired by the 1953 book of novels “For Esme- with love and squalor”. I have created at least one piece of jewellery for each novel of the book, using pewter castings of found objects as well as various metal chains. I love the lookbook. First on my must have list… the gold chain boot spats. Love love love.
