Saint Augustine Academy is currently showing it’s eleventh season “Do You Believe Her?” and I can’t believe this is the first I am seeing of this Sydney based label, although this is only the second range of womenswear. This collection, named after a song by The Raveonottes takes sixties rockabilly antics and combines stovepipe tailoring and raising the hemline to micro mini- showing more leg than most Australian designers are willing to highlight.

Dandy boy dressing which was prominent in London is now taking to the Melbourne streets. All skinny suit pants and Colonel ties with beaten up winkle pickers. I love the shear night dress top and the off the shoulder long sleeve lace top and would happily bop around town in the short shorts.
