One of my best friends and a very talented jewellery maker lives on the other side of the world. If the sliding doors were on my side I would now be at Sophie’s house planning outfits for London and Paris fashion week like we did last September. Now I am planning a beach weekend and she is working hard at her ever growing vintage jewellery line Malaya. Back in the day when her be-jewelled career was just starting she worked alongside the beautiful stylist Charlotte Stockdale, and recently she got to collaborate on the Etam fashion show held at Hotel Ritz in Paris back in January during Couture Fashion Week, for the presentation of the new Natalia Vodianova collection.
