I just found this blog…AARON K: Fashion & beauty photographer currently living in Auckland, New Zealand. At first I thought we did not share the sme taste in models… then I saw these dolls. Model: Eve Hohwieler, Agency: August, Age: 16, Place of Origin: Germany & England, Current Base: Auckland, New Zealand.
Model: Liza Tykhonova, Agency: August, Age: 14, Place of Origin: Ukraine, Current Base: Auckland, New Zealand. Both have that silky white skin that seems to have never been in the sun and is yet to show signs of late night parties. Beautiful.
Photographer Cameron Smith, Fashion Cat Wennekamp, Hair and Make Up Jeffery Baum, Model Anna Speckhart…shot for Oyster Magazine in Laurel Canyon.
Anna, a girl from Pittsfield, Illinois who began modeling for the likes of Abercrombie and Fitch needed a photographer like Cameron to get rid of the commercial to make way for the cool.
Not sure why, but I have always loved a shirt done up to the chin, I think it’s sexy… doesnt hurt Anna has snakeskin leggings to boot.

Wheels & Doll Baby have released a preview of their Autumn/Winter 2011 campaign featuring red-head bombshell Tiah Eckhardt photographed by Elvis Di Fazio and styled by designer Melanie Greensmith.
See the behind the scenes film at Tiah’s blog “Behind-the-scenes sneak-peek at new Wheels & Dollbaby collection: very opium den, Oriental-French, 70′s-YSL campaign inspired… Film by Byron Spencer and photograhed by Elvis Di Fazio (who I think should just join forces and become the new Mert and Marcus, Inez and Vinoodh, etc etc!).”
Tiah is the epitome of a modern day siren. Sexy and a loving mum.

Great behind the scenes at Alice Euphemia…..”This is the first in our new ‘Studio Visit’ series – a rare visual porthole and insight into the work spaces of our designers. We begin with Melbourne-based designer Stephanie Downey who helms effortlessly feminine, filmically inspired label DRESS UP. Her studio is a cosy white-washed pod in a labyrinthine converted warehouse.” Check the interview here.

Love #5 S/S 2011 ”Gloss!” Photographer Solve Sundsbo, Model Bambi Northwood-Blyth. Coca Cola beauty. If in the Blue Lagoon eighties Jeremy Scott was asked to style the then cool Brooke Shields this may be the result.
Arnsdorf Autumn/Winter 11. Ok, I am a little late on the uptake with this lookbook…but… this is the best colour palette and themed inspiration I have seen in a long time. Quite often I will skip over articles about a range and the mood behind it because like people discussing art or actors describing a role they have just played it sometimes sounds both fake and trite.
Jade Sarita Arnott is in my top 5 Australian designers. I have bought quite a few of her pieces from Alice Euphemia and will continue to collect as I’m in love with the top to heeled toe styling especially the ankle length skirt Chloe Sevigny in Big Love white and arctic blue look. Jade shows such a beautiful aesthetic where less is more, similar to Stella McCartney and Chloe. Check out a great article on Broadsheet.

I think the model is Michelle Cottesloe as thats the name of the image, but just googled and found nothing… maybe a beautiful newcomer yet to grace the bible known as the Fashion Spot. Darren from Cold After Midnight sure has a great eye for beauties so Michelle will no doubt get her own thread soon. Dusk or dawn the lighting is stunning.

My friend Marawa shot by another friend JoDuck. This girl is one of the most talented people to walk this earth… a hula hooping superstar who lives out of some beautiful custom built powder blue suitcases taking her ever changing show on the road. When living in London I was entranced weekly at her shows with mouth agape every time, she is leaving London for Blackpool but performs everywhere so keep an ear out as she will amaze. Check her all-star blog.
Victoria Lee, shot by Bec Parsons for the Love Want/ Style Me Romy collaboration. Zippora Seven was on the cover, inside the magazine is Victoria a newbie at Chadwick. Just when you thought bloggers were becoming a sign of the times and taking a myspace turn for the worst collaborations continue to pop up. This time it’s Just when you thought bloggers were becoming a sign of the times and taking a myspace turn for the worst collaborations continue to pop up. This time it’s Romy Frydman, who was a contributing Fashion Editor to Vogue Australia for 8 years and now freelance stylist who blogs to feature her freelance work of late.
Annabel Moore @ Chadwick in the March Harper’s Bazaar. Shot by David Mandelberg. I don’t have a subscription so Harpers seems to left behind. Nobody seems to post the editorials but thats not to say the magazine is not as important as Russh or Vogue or Karen.
I love Christine Centenera, she has a great eye and a youthful yet stylish vision for the magazine. With impeccable style and a penchant for promoting young Australian designers when getting snapped during Paris Fashion Week. I once found myself a little starstruck when she shared the Alice Euphemia changerooms with me, I tried to spy what she was buying to no avail. How funny to be more shy around her than most big name actors I have had the pleasure of working with!
