
Christopher Kane’s show needs to be viewed close up. Initial images never show the beauty upon the fabrics, the tailoring or his clever ideas coming to life on the catwalk. Since day 1 he has been an original and a master at both showstoppers and staples and I love that each piece of his clothes I own remind me of a time. Fluro bandages, snakeskin chiffon, Dorothy gingham and gel bags… in years to come I will not remember the politics or natural disasters but I will remember each season and it will define the year.

Emily Baker, Caitlin Lomax and Julia Nobis were the chosen few and walking in this show will only cement their super status.

The beauty is in the details. Backstage photos can change your mind, or just plain enhance the favourites. That floral cluth is amazing.

Pretty in that Sophia Coppola creates a teenager writing in a diary about a boy kind of way. The prints remind me of the cards I used to make when I was so young, made of pressed flowers and autumn leaves.
