shady scans…….

cassi

Cassi fills the pages for the latest issue of Cleo as well as being one of the 3 new faces of Myer. When I shot her I was told she had an exclusive deal with a powerhouse which prevented us from publishing the shots. Not sure if the deal was signed on the dotted line as she seems to be appearing everywhere. I feel a bit ripped off, especially as I have recommended her beautiful deer like features for quite a few jobs when people ring me to she how she behaves on set.

van

Cassi still looks amazing and I have no doubt she will head overseas again and make it big.

countess of the campaign ….

abbey

I have to say I love sneak peek behind the scene snaps for the most part but in the case of this Abbey Lee, Freja Chanel campaign its lost the impact as I feel like I have already seen all the eskimo outfits hanging on the New York fire escapes already. A little taste is good.

mulberry

Abbey also makes her way into the latest Mulberry campaign with Hanne Gaby Odiele. I love her childish facial expression when bed jumping and the 80’s Brooke Shields make up. I don’t think she has ever looked prettier.

pilot magazine

pilot1

Relatively new magazine Pilot issue 3 with Juliana Forge is out now, and Issue 4 is out this week. I have yet to see a copy of the NZ publication but the blog shows very art based content with a new technology focus. New Zealand magazines and hitting with force with their ability to feature new models and younger talents.

helmut

Alexandra Agoston-O’Connor is a Sydney girl who has one of those amazing faces that could be cast in most international roles. Tiny freckles and almond eyes she does elegant Couture and can also pull off a backyard shoot in Helmut Lang with her friend and neighbour Cory Kennedy styling.

I have only ever seen New York in Fall, the sun shining and everyone wears tank tops just makes me want to visit again.

drown

“Drown.” Young photographer Nirrimi has already shown she’s not just a kid with a distinctive Hanging Rock style. Her latest pictures on her blog with model Belle show a stronger more Oyster style to mix in with her softer light romantic editorials.

no

Irina Lazareanu for No Magazine. Gen posted the Tokyo polaroids weeks ago as a tease showing Irina smoking like a Japanese school girl doing a jaunt as a flapper. Now the cover for New Zealand’s No shows an even more feminine side to Miss Lazareanu. Love the nails and the triangle ear rings.

cassette society….

cassette

Never Ever Forever. It’s the title. It’s Bambi. It’s the tribal plaited hair. It’s the jewels and also just the plain old thrown together look the Cassette Society have mastered. This is second summer. Not out until September and it just is rubbing in my face that this time last year I was all European Summer. It’s ice cold here.

issue three…

love

Love Want Issue 3 out this Thursday online and at General Pants stores. Photgrapher: Bec Parsons, Stylist: Imogene Barron and cover star Miss Julia Nobis. Bec is known for her lack of re-touching and caught in the moment style. I love that Julia looks so fresh with no make up and slightly flushed cheeks to go alongside her Kurt t-shirt. Emma Balfour and Jessica Hart also make the editorials.

won hundred

won

As I have said before, I almost own no basics. I bought my first white tee when in London last year whilst shopping the Jil Sander for Uniqlo collection and that is about the extent of it. So when I came across this Won Hundred shoot on Canvas I had to check out their online shop. Canvas always manage to make the range even more covertable. First on my to buy list is the scoop neck sloppy joes.
